MY WISH COME TRUE
Before I had chosen my clubs, I first thought about the Stargazers Society Club. I planned to join it because my best friends had already been a member of the club but my mind contradicted, that what if my parents won’t allow me to attend stargazing overnight because of course it is held during nighttime and sleep at the campus for they are very strict. So, I decided not to join it anymore.
Almost three-fourths of the class are members of the club. I have not heard some informations about the club so I was not interested about the club. I also do not know who is the adviser and that time, I still did not meet with Mdm. Gallo because she was still in America for her mother, so I haven't Madame Gallo's attitude. When she arrived, the first time last July, my first impression to her is a very strict teacher. But all of those impressions of mine are entirely inverse to her real personality. Yes, she was strict but only a bit. She acts like a mother to us. She is very caring, accommodating and very concern to our needs. Then a time came that I was informed that Madame Gallo was the adviser of the Stargazers Society Club. I was really shocked about that news. Then I asked my best friends if I could still join the club. But unfortunately, I could not anymore. I really blamed myself for my very idiot decision of not joining the club. Then i when I went home, I asked my parents what if I joined the club and there are overnight meetings, would they allow me. They answered a bi g YES!! They said that if attending those overnights are required of being a member of it, they would definitely allow me. Because of what they said, I really felt more sad because of losing the opportunity of being a member of the club. Then one day came that Madame Gallo called a meeting to all Stargazers Society Club members for an important thing to discuss. Every member of the club really became very curious about the topic. They are keep on guessing it. When the meeting came to order, the campus remained silent for only few student are non stargazers. Because all of the members are all in the GenSci Lab. Then after a while, the non stargazers are “deafen” because of the impact of the sudden shout of the stargazers. I wondered why they shouted. After their meeting, I asked my best friends why they shouted a while ago. Then she answered that it is because they are told by Madame Gallo that they will have their first overnight on the following week. I was really jealous with them. They are talking about their feelings about it, some are prayful so that their parents would allow them to go, some are just relax, and some are thankful for they are already allowed.
Because of that jealousy of mine I wished to God to let Madame Gallo decide a new overnight which is open for non stargazers. And God is really good!!! Last February 7, Madame Gallo announced that there would be an overnight which is open to all first year non stargazers.
And the silliest thing that we have done with my best friends, is when we slept 3:00 a.m just because of eating noodles and running.
At last, I have experienced being in an overnight. I wish there would be more like that!!!
