QUALITY EDUCATION.......IS IT POSSIBLE FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS?

As a former student of three public schools, I have already compared all the similarities in the way they handle their students and the differences from private school. Almost all of the students lied at the back of the question, “Why is our education like this? Why private schools are more advanced than us?”. But what is really the great question is that “do public school still has the chance to have the so-called QUALITY EDUCATION?”

As I hopped from school to school (public schools), I have adjusted on their different rules but not their way of teaching and the treatment to the students because they are completely the same. During the third level of my elementary years, this happening is still very fresh to my memories; one of my classmates was pinched by my adviser for just in a very light cause of saying a single word. But what I remembered is that teachers can only scold their students and not to hurt them physically. And another memory happened in my school over there in Manila, I was really very shocked. Our school hours there are only three hours. YES, you heard it right, three hours!!! What can their students learn from that very short period of time?! Duh?! All subjects stunted in just a very short span of time?! What a school!!!! Base on those teachings and handlings I’ve stated, you yourself could imagine how ridiculous the educations on these schools are. Where are they putting those money from the people given for the youth’s proper education? Some managers corrupt the money education? Some managers corrupt the money just to spend for silly and useless things just to be satisfied from their wants! But what they aren’t realizing is that they are not just affecting the life of the youth but also their beloved ones especially their kids, because they couldn’t suffer all those difficult problems because their generation had past and what generation is affected is our generation. And another problem are the teachers. Some teachers are not very well-informed and they are sometimes corrected with their students. What education could they give their students, if they themselves don’t know and don’t master their lesson to teach. Isn’t it very ashaming?

But take note these schools are just few from the thousands and thousands of schools here in the Philippines. Those problems of mine are just from three schools, what more in some other schools?! Here in Philippines, the most important attainment is EDUCATION, but look at the kind of education they are giving us? They always say that they want “progress” in our country, well, the youth is the future, and what can they expect from the youth if they aren’t giving importance to our education. If there would be NO YOUTH, NO TOMORROW; NO TOMORROW; NO WORLD.
